here's a dose of inspiration for outdoor festivities

Crane suggests that the perfect evening letter is always accompanied by the perfect libation — and we happen to agree. Give this Crane & Co. signature cocktail a try. It may inspire your writing! 

Recipe:

2 oz Gin

Juice + zest of 1 lime

3 oz fresh grapefruit juice

2tbs agavae nectar

champagne float

In a shaker half filled with ice add the gin, lime zest + juice, grapefruit juice + agavae nectar. SHAKE. Pour into prepared highball and top with a champagne float.

Letterpress
· Same basic cost as engraving
· Usually paper is heavier and textured
· Type is pressed into the paper and gives a more
“hand-made” look

Engraved
· Text is etched into a metal plate
· Produces a crisp, raised type
· White ink engraves beautifully on dark paper

Thermography
· Gives the “look” of engraving but more cost effective
· Can sometimes look “shiny” if not printed correctly
